Heya, congrats on the #48 spot in the leaders. The first interleague game took place on June 12, 1997, when the Texas Rangers hosted the San Francisco Giants at The Ballpark in Arlington. There were four interleague games on the schedule that night, but the other three were played on the West Coast, so the Rangers-Giants matchup started a few hours earlier than the others. Texas’ Darren Oliver threw the game’s first pitch. Ashhttp://ashleymarshall.mlblogs.com

Hey, Metsgl. Checking in with ya. I missed ya on the Brownie Points blog–I thought you might have joined us there. You guys played a very good series, and you smacked our closer in the mouth after getting a walk off him. Maybe we will see you in the World Series. We need to avenge 1986, so that would suit us fine. Both our teams have A LOT of things to get better at if that is to happen though! GO SOX! I’m back to Brownie Points. šŸ™‚ Take care, Metsgl.
